After fixing the clutch hydralics, along with a new braided stainless clutch hose, I bought a new steering wheel and leather shift boot.

Left picture is with cut springs. Installed the rear Tokico shocks and springs. Stance with Tokico raised the car by 1.25" and rides much better although a little soft.

May 17, 2009 at POTD show right after the suspension changes.

Removed the factory seats to set my used 350Z seats in place. Car up on jack stands
and all struts, springs, and sway bars removed.
Ready to install T3 tension rods, spacers, and MSA sway bars with new end links.

Everything in place. I would like to clean up the underside of the car but I was getting ready
for a Datsun meet so I had to hurry along with the install.


My Tokico suspension did not arrive on time so I just cut the factory springs as a temporary solution.
1.5 coils off the front, 3.5 coils off the rear. Remember, my rear suspension was
unusually high before.

The tension rods were just recently made available for the 280ZX from Techno Toy Tuning. I'm one of the first to get them.
